| Definition of WAVEHOG:
[VERB]
to wavehog, wavehogs, wavehogging
[ADJECTIVE]
A surfer that catches the majority of waves during any given session. An experienced, well conditioned, motivated and skillfull surfer. (Age may vary from 8 to 80+ years.) Usually applies to longboard surfers.
A non-endearing term from one surfer to another, when the accused Wavehog is having an incredible day of ripping and taking all the biggest and best waves.
NOTE: This accusation is typically made by surfers with lesser skills that are not strong enough to catch any waves, or they fall off their boards, or drop in on the shoulder, or take off on surfers that are deeper in the peak, and are having an altogether frustrating surf session.
